  • Monday December 30th- Community Methodist Church in Bigfork will be hosting a Red Cross blood drive from 10-3
  • Tuesday December 31st and Wednesday January 1st- The Lake County Transfer station, landfill, and container sites will close at 3pm on the 31st and be closed all day New Year’s day
  • Tuesday December 31st and January 1st- The North Lake County Public Library in Polson will close at 4pm New Year’s eve and will be closed all day New Year’s day
  • Thursday January 2nd- The Kalispell Center Mall will be hosting a Red Cross Blood drive from 12-4:15, and the Columbia Falls Community Room will host a blood drive from 11-5
  • Friday January 3rd- Friday Night movie night takes place at the North Lake County Public Library in Polson the first Friday evening of each month at 6pm. You must be in the library before 6 as doors lock promptly at 6. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and non alcoholic beverages. Popcorn is provided.   • Saturday January 4th- Leaders Save Lives Blood drive takes place at the Red Cross Donation Center at 126 North Meridian in Kalispell from 10am until 4pm
  • Monday January 6th- The Church at Creston will be hosting a Red Cross Blood drive from 12-5:30
  • Tuesday January 7th- The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater invites children in grades 2-6 to audition for their upcoming play, “The Wild, Wild, Wildest West” Auditions will be held at the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre afterschool Center on (on 833 Grand) from 4:30-5:30 PM for 2nd and 3rd grades, and 5:30-7:30 PM for 4th through 6th grades. (Performances January 30 and Feb 1, 7, & 8 at 7:30 and February 9 at 2:00)
  • Tuesday January 7th- Whitefish High School is hosting a Red Cross Blood drive from 8am until 1pm.
  • Wednesday January 8th- Montana Academy will be hosting a Red Cross Blood drive from 10-3:30
  • Thursday January 9th- Lake County Community Development is offering a free workshop on value added grants. These grants offered by the USDA helps farmers and ranchers finance the production of value added ag products. Find out more info during this workshop from 9am until Noon at the LCCDC office at 407 Main Street in Ronan. Space is limited, so reserve your seat by calling 676-5912
  • Thursday January 9th- Adult coloring program, titled this month, “South of the Border” takes place from 2-3:30pm. Coloring supplies are provided as well as snacks. For more info, call the library at 883-8225
  • Friday January 10th- Parkside Credit Union in Whitefish will be hosting a Red Cross blood drive from 10-3:15
  • Monday January 13th- Family Life Church will be hosting a Red Cross Blood drive from 12-5
  • Wednesday January 15th- Seven weekly workshops on helping farmers develop and manage a profitable agri-business begin at Lake County Community Development in Ronan. Cost for the full 7 week series is $100 or $20 per individual workshops. For more info or to register call 676-5912
  • Tuesday January 21st- Fort Connah Annual Membership Meeting will take place at the Post Creek 44 Bar Steak and Tap House located at 73124 HWY 93 St. Ignatius. No host dinner is at 6pm with meeting at 7pm, meeting is open to everyone.

  • Everyone is welcome if you are hungry or in need of fellowship at Polson Church dinners from 5-7 pm at the following locations: 1st Friday of the month at the Catholic Church, 2nd Friday at the Presbyterian Church, 3rd Friday @ the United Methodist Church, 4th Friday at the Heritage of Faith Church (Journey B) and 5th Friday at Community Christian. Lunch is served every Saturday from 11:30-1:30 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church
  • Every Monday at the North Lake County Public Library in Polson at 10:30am is Mother Goose, a half hour program for toddlers and their caregivers with nursery rhymes and stories galore. Makerspace takes place from 3:30-5pm for kids of all ages and their caregivers allowing kids to build, make, and play
  • The Second and Fourth Mondays of the Month- Cheerful Heart, a non profit organization benefiting people with Cancer, holds support group meetings at the First United Methodist Church at 301 16th Avenue East in Polson from 12-1pm. For more info, call 883-3070 or visit cheerfulheart.org

  • Every Thursday- Providence St. Joseph Medical Center offers their Maternal Support Group, the Baby Bunch from 10-11:30. Get your questions answered and learn from the experience of others. For more information or questions, call 883-8347
